UB Sciences

Access is possible with UZH Card and ETH Card via main entrance (daily from 7:00 to 23:00).

We also offer study spaces that can be used without prior reservation.

At the UB Sciences, 10 individual study spaces are available for the purpose of scientific work. The use is reserved for members of an Irchel institute from the master's level upwards. Prerequisites include a justification (e.g master’s thesis of PhD thesis) and a library account.

Locker keys can be borrowed on site during the staffed info desk.

The UB Sciences provides about 145'000 printed and electronic items in the fields of natural sciences, preclinical medicine, mathematics, informatics, geography and anthropology on the Irchel campus. A variety of different study spaces are offered, as well as cozy reading corners. The Liaison Librarians support researchers and students with subject-specific questions about literature research, reference management, data management or publishing.
