From now on, given names can be entered in full length for new publications in ZORA, using the already existing field "Given Name".

Publications that are already in ZORA remain unchanged. In order to obtain some uniformity, ZORA automatically procudes an abbreviated version (new field in ZORA "Initials for Index") - using the same abbreviation rules as before. The author index shows the abbreviated versions (initials), while all other browse views of ZORA will show the given names of new publications in the way you enter them. This means, as submitter it's your choice for new ZORA entries: either you continue entering given names as initials as in the past - or you enter them in full length.
